The PowerSafe TS range of single cells offers high performance, long life solutions for renewable energy applications.
PowerSafe TS cells are based on proven vented technology and designed for renewable energy applications that require maximum cycle life with the highest level of reliability. They are particularly suitable for use in solar energy installations, ensuring a continuity of electrical supply during the hours of darkness or during periods of reduced sunshine.
Reduced maintenance is achieved through the use of additional electrolyte which means cells only have to be topped-up once a year. This helps to keep down maintenance costs and makes them an ideal solution for many remote or unmanned locations.
Tubular positive plates are widely used in batteries for particularly demanding applications. In the PowerSafe TS range they have been optimised to give an extended cycle life and increased capacity.

Inverters allow you to power domestic equipment - requiring 230V/120V AC - using 'leisure' or 'automotive' batteries rated at 12V, 24V or 48V DC.
Highly Reliable - built for the years ahead
Phoenix Inverters are built to last. They feature sophisticated full-bridge and toroidal transformer topology - which is suitable for powering sensitive electronics. They are overload, temperature, and short-circuit protected.
Full bursts - High Peak output
Some electronic devices - particularly those which have an electric motor - require short burst of energy on start-up which is much higher than their rated power consumption. No problem - the Phoenix inverter has industry-leading peak-power capability.
Intelligent alarms, shut-downs, and re-starts
A high power draw on start-up can trigger false alarms, and shut-downs. Phoenix makes allowance for this and only shuts down in cases of persistent overload. Intelligently - shut downs will be followed by a series of re-starts - to eliminate 'false alarms'.
Conserve power with Eco mode
In Eco mode the inverter shuts down when no power is required. Phoenix senses the output socket every couple of seconds and automatically turns back on if power is again required.
User-configurable settings
Phoenix has a communication port providing access to status information, alarms and automatic user-configurable low-voltage shut downs. Shut downs will be followed by a series of intelligent re-start attempts. User settings can be accessed from your computer or mobile device via VictronConnect - our free-to-use app.
Features
VE.Direct communication port
The VE.Direct port can be connected to:
• A computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable needed)
• Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBook’s and other devices (VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle needed)
Fully configurable:
• Low battery voltage alarm trip and reset levels
• Low battery voltage cut-off and restart levels
• Dynamic cut-off: load dependent cut-off level
• Output voltage 210 - 245V
• Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
• ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sense level
Monitoring:
• In- and output voltage, % load and alarms
Proven reliability
The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High start-up power
Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.
ECO mode
When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.
Remote on/off
A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two pole connector, or between battery plus and the left hand contact of the two pole connector.
LED diagnosis
Please see manual for a description.
To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch
For our low power inverters we recommend our Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.
Available with different output sockets
Schuko, UK, AU/NZ, IEC-320, Nema 5-15R
DC connection with screw terminals
No special tools needed for installation
Just plug in to start charging!
Our proven Home Box EV Charging Station is now available with a smart Tesla charge port opening button. When button is pressed, the charge port will open automatically. No need to use your car key or to unlock at the center console. When charging is completed or in case you choose to interrupt charging, while car key nearby, just press the button again to release the connector from the charge port.
Two AC Outputs
The main output has no break functionality. The MultiPlus takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of a grid failure or when shore/generator power is disconnected. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on the input of the MultiPlus. Loads that should not discharge the battery, like a water heater for example can be connected to this output (second output available on models rated at 3 kVA and more).
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24/5000/120 units, for example, will provide 25 kW / 30 kVA output power with 720 Amps charging capacity.
Three phase capability
In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for three phase output. But that’s not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be parallel connected for a huge 75 kW / 90 kVA inverter and more than 2000 Amps charging capacity.
PowerControl - Dealing with limited generator, shore side or grid power
The MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger. It will therefore draw a lot of current from the generator or shore side supply (nearly 10 A per 5 kVA Multi at 230 VAC). With the Multi Control Panel a maximum generator or shore current can be set. The MultiPlus will then take account of other AC loads and use whatever is extra for charging, thus preventing the generator or shore supply from being overloaded.
PowerAssist - Boosting the capacity of shore or generator power
This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. It allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
Solar energy: AC power available even during a grid failure
The MultiPlus can be used in off grid as well as grid connected PV and other alternative energy systems. Loss of mains detection software is available.
System configuring
- In case of a stand-alone application, if settings have to be changed, this can be done in a matter of minutes with a DIP switch setting procedure.
- Parallel and three phase applications can be configured with VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
- Off grid, grid interactive and self-consumption applications, involving grid-tie inverters and/or MPPT Solar Chargers can be configured with Assistants (dedicated software for specific applications).
On-site Monitoring and control
Several options are available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).
Remote Monitoring and control
Victron Ethernet Remote, Venus GX and the Color Control Panel. Data can be stored and displayed on VRM (Victron Remote Management) website, free of charge.
Remote configuring
When connected to the Ethernet, systems with a Color Control panel can be accessed remotely and settings can be changed.
Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source. The main output has no-break functionality. In the event of a grid failure, or shore or generator power being disconnected, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs of the Quattro. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air-conditioning or a water heater can be connected to this output.
Unique PowerAssist feature
The Quattro will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 Quattros can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three phase or split phase operation is also possible.
The GEL model range offers best deep cycle durability and overall longer life.
